Ristorante Vecchia Arona: Reviews & Ratings
We stopped in for some lunch randomly, reviews are accurate, lovely area, picturesque views of the lake, food was lovely, we had the Bolognese with fish and the ravioli, followed by the creme Brule. Bolognese was on point, not quite my flavour but any seafood lovers would enjoy. Ravioli was awesome, definitely deserves its spot on the menu. Creme Brule was lovely, good crunch and some unexpected fruit at the bottom had some Xmas vibes going on. Highlights were the wine list lots of lovely choices, Amarone options while expensive did make me reconsider if I needed to leave town, aka maybe I'll finish the bottle and stay the night in town! , if you do order some desert, try some of the A.A Italian Rosso Moscato, super exquisite!
Dined in, lunch menu. Visited for Easter, set menu, great options, friendly and professional staff. Took us about 2h 30m to go through all the servings, wine selection was ample and the service was 5*. The servings were coming out at the right speed, didn't feel rushed. The chef came out to greet us which is always a nice touch. Starters to dessert, everything was great and very well cooked, one of the dishes had tuna and I must say it was the best tuna I've tried, soft and not dry at all, it was literally melting in your mouth. Cost wise it wasn't excessive and well worth the price when you consider the quality of the food, the location and the service. If you're driving, there's plenty of parking space in the area. Great place for a family lunch/dinner. Enjoy.
Tables on the lake front sidewalk are amazing, food is very very good! Veramente soddisfacente!
